This is the Bottom Entry Bugnet.  Trevor is the inventor and an avid hiker, diy’r and all around good guy.  It is to be used with 11 foot hammocks.  It is one of the easiest ways to get a bugnet on a hammock without a net.  There is shock cord on the bottom and  a cord lock to cinch it to the bottom of the hammock/ underquilt.  They are made from nano-see-um.

Weight: 11 footer = 7 ounces

Great way to upgrade a non-enclosed hammock

Posted by Angelfire on 1st Dec 2018

This bug net is The Bomb! I have a non-enclosed hammock that needed a bug net. I bought this bug net, not knowing if it would be good or not. It's great because you leave it partially open on the bottom (which makes entry/exit easy) and when you get in, it snugs up around the hammock and draws the underquilt up snug to the bottom of the hammock. You can eliminate underquilt sag (read: cold air space under you) with the bug net! You can control how closely the underquilt hugs the underside of the hammock by adjusting the opening in the bug net. The seam on the top of the bug net acts like a ridgeline and keeps the net off your face, as you can see in the photo on the website. I am very pleased with this bug net!
