    MESH SNAKE SKIN

Product works as stated. Smooth action pulling over tarp and deploying.
the tiny hole end is aggravating to me.
Would rather have draw cord closure.

    Mesh Sleeve

This sleeve makes storing your tarp super easy. And it still allows you to use the stuff sack your tarp came in.

Fantastic quality, and fantastic customer service!

    Tarp sleeve, mesh

Posted by Gary on 23rd Jun 2019

Ive had the sleeve for about a year and used it for around 2 months of camping. Very happy with it.
On June 2nd we started a family camping trip that lasted 18 days. My tarp had the skin and my daughters tarp didn't. It quickly became obvious that the skin makes set up and pack up much easier, faster and cleaner. Im ordering a second skin for her tarp.

    Mesh sleeve

Just what I was looking for. This one peace mesh sleeve works great and is long enough to cover my tarp completely. Very handy for deploying and and packing up. I was previously using a two peace method and It wasn't nearly as convenient.

You don't need this until you own it!

Posted by Steve on 11th Jun 2019

I really didn't think I needed this until I used it. Upon receiving my snakeskin I immediately took out my new, unopened tarp with doors, hooked up my guy lines and shock cord. Upon takedown, I did not have to remove my guy lines and shock cords or ridgeline. Just fold your cordage in and slide the snakeskin over! Basically that's it. When it comes to your ridgeline, just figure eight the lines, secure them and tuck them into the ends.

By the way, the tapered end was sheer genius.

Thanks Hammock Gear. You made my life much easier.

This mesh sleeve makes take down and set up of my tarp so much easier. I have a large superfly tarp and it fits perfect in this sleeve. It’s much easier to use than the mesh sleeves with two separate sleeves that meet in the middle.

    Simple and effective product

    Posted by NJHeart2Heart on 23rd Apr 2019

I've only had a chance to try the tarp mesh sleeve once so far. Although it was initially challenging to get on the ridgeline (because by design the one side hole is verrry small), once on it was a BREEZE to pack up my tarp! Can't wait to use it on a weekend event coming up! Would definitely recommend the product and the vendor :)

You need this, but just dont know it

Posted by James on 22nd Apr 2019

This thing is great, and makes unpacking and packing up your tarp so much easier. This fits the Arrowhead Equipment Toxaway tarp perfectly, and there's plenty of room in the tarp stuff sack for the tarp, this sleeve, and guy lines. I'm sure HG tarps are fantastic, but just wanted to share with others that may not have HG gear. I already had my tarp when I found out about HG :-).

    Mesh Sleeve Awesomeness

Posted by OutDoorPastor on 19th Apr 2019

This sleeve is just what I needed for the rainfly I use with my hammock. It is light weight and does not take a lot of space in my pack. It helps with a quick and easy set up and breakdown of my system. Additionally, it facilitates the drying process when I have to pack up wet gear. the only thing I would change is I would make both ends of the sleeve wide open instead of tapering one end. I know it would add a little weight, but I think it would be worth it.
